Each one of these die-cut photo frame cards holds a one-of-a-kind ecoprint I created on watercolour paper using leaves and flowers from my garden. These cards would be perfect for handwritten notes and would also make a thoughtful gift for a gardener and plant lover who loves to send handwritten notes. Each card is packaged in a cellophane sleeve with a matching envelope.
Ecoprinting, which is also called botanical contact printing, is the process of capturing dyes and pigments in leaves and flowers on paper using heat and pressure. All the colors you see come from plants – I don’t use any synthetic dyes, inks or paints – and every print is unique.
