This handmade botanical junk journal gives new life to pages from out-of-print French flower and plant field guides. It contains 36 illustrated plates from vintage books, 30 pages of blank mixed media paper and 6 of my original ecoprints on watercolour paper — for a total of 72 pages (144 sides).
The covers are sturdy chipboard covered with a colourful patchwork of original ecoprints I created on watercolour paper. At the back of the journal is a handmade Kraft envelope with a string closure as well as a library card pocket for you to collect notes, photos and ephemera.
Ecoprinting is the process of making direct contact prints with the natural pigments in leaves and flowers using pressure and heat. The colours and patterns imprinted on the paper depend on the variety and combination plant materials as well as the time of year and every print is unique.

I'll do my best to meet these shipping estimates, but can't guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose.
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
If you would like to order a customized book, please contact me.
To make the pages for my books, I fold one long sheet of paper in half so that it turns into 4 pages when you count both sides of the page. So a book with 176 pages of writing or drawing paper contains 44 sheets of paper folded in half. And a sketchbook with 88 pages of watercolour paper contains 22 sheets of paper folded in half.
I use Canada Post and will ship your order promptly – often on the same day I receive it – but I can't guarantee how quickly it will reach you, even if you have select ed expedited shipping. You are responsible for providing me with the correct name and address for shipping, and I cannot be held responsible for incorrect information.
